Curator’s Choice

The Polish

Curator’s Choice is a fine wood polish that cleans, conditions, and repairs damaged wood. An old Virginia family recipe, its gentle properties make it popular among historic preservationists and enthusiasts. There is nothing else like Curator’s Choice on the market. The polish is meant for frequent use to clean wood surfaces and help retain shine on furniture, floors, and moldings. It can also be used to help minimize, and in some cases, completely erase damaged areas.

The polish is gentle and safe for use on fine museum-quality antiques, new mass-produced quality surfaces, and any product quality in between. Owner, maker, and native Virginian, Mary Spotswood, has repackaged and rebranded her family recipe, making it available to larger markets. Production happens at Brooke’s Bank Farm in Essex County, Virginia with the help of her three rather wild young boys and good-humored husband.
